Catch .44 - New Cast Announced!

Word is out that 2 new names have been added to the cast of indie flick Catch .44

What I'm reading is that Nikki Reed (Twilight) and Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood) will be joining Malin Akerman in some sort of league of assassins. It sounds a little Charlie's Angels gone bad to me, but what do I know.

The other best guess as far as roles go is that Forest Whitaker will play the bad guy, who is probably on a mission to kill the 3 women. While Bruce Willis is probably on the same side as the women and trying to protect them somehow. Kind of like Bosley.

At any rate we hope to hearing more about the movie as things move forward. And maybe Aaron Harvey will surprise us all!

Catch .44 is still set for release in late 2010, but there is no official release date at this time.

Catch .44 Cast - Indie?

Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker, Malin Akerman and Kate Mara are set to star in Catch .44

Look at this cast and tell me that Aaron Harvey is making an "indie" movie.

There is a whole lot of talent and a whole lot of sexy in that picture...

Let's see what Mr. Harvey is able to do with it!

Catch .44 - Indie Flick w/ Big Cast

Aaron Harvey is getting ready to make his very first movie as a director. And dude is signing up a fantastic cast to make his “indie” flick, Catch .44

So far it is being reported that Forest Whitaker, Bruce Willis, Malin Akerman and Kate Mara are all on board.

The story is said to revolve around 3 women who get mixed up in the crazy business of Whitaker who plays a truck driver/ line cook/ hitman.

Akerman (The Watchmen, Couples Retreat) is set to play the lead in the trio of women. And while it hasn’t been made clear what part Mara (Iron Man 2, Entourage) will play, it looks like she will be the 2nd in the group.

Willis (Red) is the crime boss who is apparently in control of the whole messed up situation.

That’s a whole lot of star power right there.

And while it’s being called an indie movie, with a cast like this I’m not sure how indie it’s going to be when we see it.

Catch .44 is set to start shooting in July 2010 and a release date has not been officially set at this time.
